The Company is a producer of cellulose, a natural polymer, used as a raw material to manufacture a range of consumer-oriented products such as cigarette filters, liquid crystal displays, impact-resistant plastics, thickeners for food products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, high-tenacity rayon yarn for tires and industrial hoses, food casings, paints and lacquers. Its production facilities, located in Jesup, Georgia, and Fernandina Beach, Florida, have a combined annual production capacity of approximately 675,000 metric tons.
