Everyday Health (EVDY) : 2-month performance

  • The company’s initial public offering was on March 28, 2014 on the New York Stock Exchange, with the symbol EVDY representing the company.  It opened at $14 per share, closing the day at $13.50.  
  • On October 21, 2016, Ziff Davis a subsidiary of j2 Global (JCOM) announce that it will be acquiring the company for a value worth $465 million. It became finalised on December 8, 2016, thus becoming a subsidiary of J2 Global.
  • In October 2021, J2 Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: JCOM) completed a separation of its Consensus business into an independent, public company named Consensus Cloud Solutions, Inc.. J2 Global, Inc. then changed its name to Ziff Davis, Inc. and began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ZD.

Everyday Health (EVDY) began trading on the NYSE on 28 March 2014


Everyday Health (NYSE: EVDY) is a provider of digital health and welfare solutions. Everyday Health takes a unique approach and uses data and analytics to provide its users with personalized content.

The company initially planned to offer 7.2 million shares at a price range of $13 to $15 per share. Shares initially opened at $14.50 and briefly touched $14.75, before reversing course and declining as low as $13.23.
